I found it really difficult to build a strong connection with my cohort online, but staying at Kooloobong, I've met so many people doing my degree and we can talk about our course, we can share our subjects together. I've been given a lot of advice from older students, which is really helped me with my studies, and I've also been able to give advice to younger students to help them with their studies. Eligible Course or Subjects: The scholarship will be awarded to study bachelor and masters degree program in any subject offered by the university. Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must be an international student who is enrolled in a full-time bachelor or master degree program in the academic session 2019-20. Any international students who are classified as an international student in Australia with a full unconditional offer for either a Masters or Bachelor degree delivered at Port Macquarie. Career Path If you have a Master or Bachelor degree, you may be applied to a wide variety of potential careers like an engineer, manager, teacher etc. Keep in mind that salaries range broadly for master's degree holders–depending on industry and company, location, the nation's economy and your level of experience. Supporting Documents: To be considered for the scholarship, the applicants must submit all the following required documents: Copy of CSU Unconditional Offer for a course at Port Macquarie in Session 30 or Session 60 2019 A 500-word essay outlining evidence of financial hardship Admission Requirements: To participate in this scholarship, you must have applied for the course of your choice at the university.

Academic Merit Scholarship The undergraduate Academic Merit Scholarship at UOWD covers 15% - 50% of tuition fees each semester. The scholarship does not include textbooks, excursions, accommodation, living expenses or any other study-related expenses. Scholarship Value Three categories of scholarship are available to undergraduate students. 50% scholarship (conditions apply) 25% scholarship 15% scholarship Within each category, the number of scholarships awarded is limited and you must meet the minimum selection criteria for the relevant category in order for your application to be considered. Scholarships are awarded on a first come, first served basis. Once all scholarships have been awarded for a semester, no further scholarship applications will be accepted. Eligibility and Selection Criteria Applications are open to students of any citizenship. Applications are open to new (entry level) students. Applicants must have achieved the minimum grades as listed in the Curriculum table below.

UOW be sending out accommodation and scholarship offers from 22 October 2021, and you'll have until 2 November 2021 to accept the offer. If unable to accept the offer by 2 November, please contact UOW Accommodation Services to discuss more options. To accept the offer of accommodation, need to pay a residential pre-payment fee of $500. This counts towards the cost of accommodation in 2021 and is non-refundable. If aren't able to have your visa granted before the start of the accommodation contract, the pre-payment may be refunded. International Student Accommodation scholarship will automatically be applied to your accommodation account in spring session 2021. It must remain enrolled in a UOW course for autumn and Spring session for the scholarship to be applied.
